Third day of the 2014 RCC Meeting was dedicated to the project development of the Northern Forum, moderated by the Acting Executive Director Anastasia Bozhedonova. Ms. Bozhedonova was as well first to present on this day – the presentation was dedicated to a brief outline of current project activities under the auspices of the Northern Forum – currently there are 18 projects within the Northern Forum system or working closely to the Northern Forum, split in three programs. Temperatures in Pyeongchang and Yongpyeong in the province in the early morning of Tuesday dropped as low as -0.4 degrees, bringing frost and ice up to 10 days earlier than on average.

Khanty-Mansiyskiy AO - Yugra to receive a subsidy of 2.8 million rubles for the development of animal breeding, The Ministry of agriculture has allocated to Khanty-Mansiyskiy AO 2 million 833 thousand rubles from federal budget for compensation of interest rate on investment loans (loans) for the development of animal breeding, processing and development of infrastructure and logistics markets products of animal breeding. Vantaan Energia officially opened a new waste-to-energy incinerator on Wednesday. The new plant is Finland’s biggest of its kind, and will produce half of the district heating demand and 30 percent of the electricity needed in the municipality of Vantaa, part of the greater Helsinki area.
