Planning for next year's events begins with the Business and Scientific Forum ‘Northern Forum - India’, which will be held in Delhi on 16 March.

It will be hosted by the Vivekananda International Foundation and the Institute of Governance and Sustainable Development. They were represented at the meeting today by Mr Anurag Bisen, Senior Fellow of the Foundation and one of the authors of India's Arctic Strategy.

From our side, Irina Strelnikova, Associate Professor, Research Fellow at the Department of Foreign Regional Studies, National Research University Higher School of Economics, and Maria Lagutina, Associate Professor at the Global Politics Department of St. Petersburg State University, who are well familiar with the topic of relations with India, were invited to join the coordination team.

‘When such professionals who are ready to take on very serious directions join the team, there is confidence in achieving all the goals, because we discussed the idea of holding an event in India for the first time only at the Northern Sustainable Development Forum in September and met Anurag there. So, the confidence in the Northern Forum is very high, which can only please us,' remarked Vladimir Vasiliev, Executive Director of the Northern Forum.
