The Northern Forum Secretariat held a meeting with the representatives of the North-Eastern Federal University
We discussed the concept of creating the Russian-Asian Consortium for Arctic Research under the auspices of the Northern Forum with the Vice-Rector for Sustainable Development of the Arctic Territories Yuri Danilov and the Vice-Rector for Analytical and Expert Activity Alexander Kugaevsky.
The creation of the consortium, aimed to unite universities, colleges, research and organizations in Russia and Asia, will allow to strengthen the scientific segment of Arctic research, improve the quality of education, ensure the exchange of new knowledge and technologies, raise a new generation of specialists with global knowledge and strengthen international communication on the sustainable development of regions.
