On March 19, 2021, Yakutia celebrates the "Day of the Arctic". The holiday was established by the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) No. 200 dated December 11, 2014 with the aim of supporting and developing the Arctic regions of Yakutia.
For the Philharmonic Society of Yakutia - a member of the Association of Polar Explorers of the Russian Federation - "Yakutsk Arctic", this is another holiday - the birthday of the State Symphony Orchestra "Symphonic Artika". Exactly nine years ago, on March 19, 2012, the band's first concert project took place. Happy birthday to the whole team!
The mission of the Philharmonic of Yakutia is to be "guides" of the cultural environment to the most remote northern regions of the republic, to provide access to cultural values and world musical masterpieces.
