The Governor of Yugra Natalya Komarova has met representatives of the teaching staff and parent committees at the Surgut professional College of Russian culture, Surgut College of music and Surgut art-industrial College.
The base topic of the meeting was the forthcoming creation of a new intermediate vocational educational institutions by way of three existing colleges merger. According to the head of the region, such decision is dictated by the time and will increase the efficiency of the institutions, and strengthen the material-technical base of cultural centers. However, as the governor emphasized, it is important to understand what place takes every educational institution in the model of the new center. Natalia Komarova instructed the Department of culture of the autonomous region to prepare a model of organization and development of a new College in the period up to 1st November. |

| In turn, Jacob Chernyak, the director of the Surgut Philharmonic denoted the need to preserve and reflect all the values in the name of institutions, which involves education in these institutions.
The head of the region noted that each of the colleges plays an important role in the cultural life of Yugra and the value of the merged college will only increase in the future. |
