IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE JOURNEY TO THE COLD POLE-2021 JUBILEE FESTIVAL

Date and time: March 24, 2021, 10.00 AM (Yakutsk time) 

Venue: Yakutsk, Ordzhonikidze, 4

The aim: to discuss the scientific and practical problems of impact of cold on human health and learn the life-saving techniques in extremely cold environment.

Seminar topics:

  • Ethno-cultural ways of a healthy lifestyle in cold conditions;
  • Modern technologies of protection and rescue from cold;
  • Cold in health improvement, cold resistance training, sports in extreme cold;
  • Taste of Cold – the use of cold in food culture;
  • Cold injuries and cold treatment;
  • Winter tourism, cold extreme;
  • Territorial branding of the Pole of Cold and Chyskhaan, the keeper of the world’s cold.

  

Based on the results of the seminar, a collection of works will be published. Contributions will be indexed in the national bibliographic database of scientific citation RSCI.

Working languages ​​of the seminar: Russian, Sakha (Yakut), English.
