RACAR Projects
On May 28, 2026, the project activities of the consortium officially commenced with the establishment of project working groups:
- Preparation for the 5th International Polar Year
- Head: A.V. Vasilyev (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, Advisor to the Rector of NEFU).
- Ecological Monitoring Observation Network ("Arctic Transects")
- Co-Heads: V.E. Kolodeznikov (Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, M.K. Ammosov NEFU) and S.N. Kirpotin (Head of the Laboratory of Biodiversity and Ecology, Research Institute of Biology and Biophysics, Tomsk State University - TSU).
A meeting of the Council of Scientific Coordinators of the Russian-Asian Consortium for Arctic Research was successfully held!
