On March 30, the mobile North-Arctic lecture hall arrived in Dudinka — a unique educational project implemented aboard the Zvezda T24 amphibious all-terrain vehicle. The meeting of the expedition team with residents and guests of the city became a significant event within the framework of the educational mission aimed at promoting knowledge about the Arctic, its history, and modern development.
The expedition team "Zvezda. Northern Fleet," supported by the Russian Geographical Society and the Polar Explorers Association, began its journey across the northern territories of Russia in February. The travelers are moving aboard Zvezda T24 amphibious all-terrain vehicles, one of which is named in honor of the outstanding polar explorer Vladimir Rusanov. This vehicle has been specially converted into an Arctic lecture hall: it is equipped with modern multimedia systems, display complexes, VR tools, and interactive educational stations.
In Dudinka, the expedition members held a series of events for schoolchildren, students, and all interested visitors. Guests of the lecture hall had the opportunity to learn about the history of Arctic exploration, discover modern technologies used in polar research, and personally engage with the travelers who have covered thousands of kilometers across the rugged terrain of the Far North. The VR zone, which allows visitors to take a virtual journey along Arctic routes and experience the atmosphere of polar expeditions, attracted particular interest.
The "Zvezda. Northern Fleet" project continues its journey across the northern territories, demonstrating not only the high technical capabilities of Russian-made all-terrain vehicles but also the importance of preserving historical memory and promoting education in the study and development of the Arctic region.
