On March 20, 2026, the President of the Russian Federation issued a Decree awarding the Order of Friendship to Valery Anatolyevich Kryukov, Chief Researcher at the Center for Resource Economics of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Order of Friendship is a state decoration of the Russian Federation, established in 1994. The award is given for merits in strengthening friendship and cooperation between nations, contributions to the development of science, and many years of diligent work.
