On 24 February, the Presidential Grants Foundation held an expert meeting at the Russian Presidential Administration to work out the main provisions, criteria and mechanisms of the newly created fund.
Over 50 experts from across the country were invited to the meeting, including Vladimir Vasilev, Executive Director of the Northern Forum, once again demonstrating that the Northern Forum is firmly on the federal agenda.
The session was moderated by Ilya Chukalin, General Director of the Presidential Grants Foundation. Intensive group brainstorming was organised over the course of five hours. The session's recommendations will form the basis of the Foundation's regulations, and the first competition will be announced soon.
