Supporting sustainable development in the North
Throughout the history of the Northern Forum, the number of business partners has varied considerably. Representatives of the business community apply for the status of Northern Forum member based on their interest in receiving certain assistance and benefits from participation in Northern Forum activities. Accordingly, the duration of maintaining the status of a business partner depends entirely on the tasks that a company or organization needs to solve in a certain period of time. This is an absolutely regular process that allows the Northern Forum in general to assist in the development of a significant number of organizations.

Academy of the Northern Forum
The Academy of the Northern Forum is an association for the promotion of the development of the Northern territories. The Academy of the Northern Forum was initiated by the scientific community of Northern Norway and approved by Resolution No.24 of the Board of Governors as a project of the Northern Forum. In 2002, the Academy was legally registered in Yakutsk in accordance with Resolution No.101 of the Northern Forum Executive Committee.
Since its establishment, the Academy has been continuously contributing to the Northern Forum activities in various directions, developing international projects and organizing events in different regions and countries. Since 2012, it has been the main Secretariat of the Northern Forum. Thus, the Academy has become the foundation of the Northern Forum's day-to-day activities, while maintaining its status of a business partner. The President of the Academy is also the Executive Director of the Northern Forum.
